1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a cruise, accessing our website, or using any services provided by Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with a booking or use our services.
These terms apply to all guests, visitors, and any person who accesses or uses our services, whether booked directly through our website, by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through a third-party travel agent or online travel agency.
2. Booking and Reservations
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our reservations team.
- A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation via email, WhatsApp, or SMS from Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina.
- Full payment or a deposit (as specified at the time of booking) is required to secure your reservation.
- Booking details including date, time, number of guests, and selected package must be accurate at the time of reservation. Changes may be subject to availability and additional charges.
- Group bookings of 10 or more guests may require a minimum deposit of 50% at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be provided.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the price quoted at the time of confirmation.
- Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or cash (at the boarding point).
- For online payments, transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
- Any additional services, upgrades, or extras purchased on board must be paid for at the time of service.
- Currency conversions (if applicable) are handled by your bank or payment provider at their prevailing exchange rate.
4. Cancellation Policy
- More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund (minus any payment processing fees).
- 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% refund or free rescheduling to another date (subject to availability).
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund. However, rescheduling may be offered at our discretion.
- No-show: No refund will be provided for guests who fail to arrive at the boarding point at the scheduled time.

5. Cruise Schedule and Itinerary
- Cruise departure times are as specified at the time of booking. Guests are advised to arrive at the boarding point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
- The cruise will not wait for late arrivals. No refund is provided for guests who miss the departure.
- We reserve the right to modify the cruise route, duration, or itinerary due to weather conditions, maritime authority directives, mechanical issues, or safety concerns.
- In the event of a cruise cancellation by Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina (e.g., due to severe weather), guests will be offered a full refund or free rescheduling to an alternative date.
- Cruise duration is approximately 2 hours. Actual duration may vary slightly depending on conditions.
6. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities
- All guests must follow the instructions of the crew and captain at all times during the cruise.
- Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse boarding or disembark any guest whose behaviour endangers themselves, other guests, or the crew.
- Smoking is only permitted in designated areas on the vessel. Smoking is strictly prohibited in enclosed areas, near the buffet, and in the children’s area.
- Alcohol is available on board for guests aged 21 and over (as per UAE law). Proof of age may be requested. Guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly.
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
- Guests must comply with all applicable UAE laws and regulations while on board.
7. Age Requirements and Children
- Children of all ages are welcome on our cruises. Children aged 0–3 years cruise free of charge.
- Children aged 4–11 years are eligible for discounted child rates as listed on our pricing page.
- Guests aged 12 and above are charged at the adult rate.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the cruise.
- Alcohol service is restricted to guests aged 21 and over in compliance with UAE law.
- Life jackets for children are available on board and must be worn in designated areas.
7.1 Dress Code
While there is no strict dress code for our dhow cruises, we recommend smart-casual attire for dinner cruises. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for the evening setting. Please note:
- Swimwear is not permitted in the dining and entertainment areas.
- Footwear must be worn at all times on the vessel for safety reasons.
- During cooler months (November–February), we recommend bringing a light jacket as the open deck area can be breezy.
- For private events, any specific dress code requirements should be communicated to guests by the event organiser.
7.2 Food and Beverage
- Our cruise packages include an international buffet dinner as described in the selected package. Menu items are subject to seasonal availability and may vary.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted on board unless pre-arranged for private events.
- Guests with food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, etc.) must inform us at least 24 hours before the cruise.
- While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment due to the nature of our kitchen operations.
- Soft drinks and water are included in all packages. Alcoholic beverages may be included depending on the package selected or available for purchase on board.
- Service of alcohol complies with UAE regulations. Guests must be 21 years or older to consume alcoholic beverages.
7.3 Accessibility
We strive to make our cruises accessible to guests with disabilities and special needs. Please contact us at the time of booking to discuss your specific requirements so we can make appropriate arrangements. Due to the nature of marine vessels, certain areas of the dhow may have limited accessibility. We will do our best to accommodate all guests comfortably and safely.
8. Health and Safety
- Our vessels comply with all Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) safety regulations and carry all required safety equipment.
- Guests with medical conditions, mobility issues, or special needs are encouraged to inform us at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.
- Guests who suffer from severe seasickness are advised to take appropriate precautions. While our dhow cruises operate in calm marina waters, individual sensitivity may vary.
- Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions must inform us at least 24 hours before the cruise. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
- Pregnant guests in their third trimester should consult their physician before booking.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
- Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the guest for the specific cruise booking in question.
- We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, maritime authority orders, government restrictions, acts of God, or force majeure events.
- Guests participate in the cruise at their own risk. While we maintain the highest safety standards, maritime activities carry inherent risks.
- We are not responsible for any third-party services including transportation to and from the boarding point, hotel arrangements, or services not directly provided by Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina.
10. Photography and Media
- Guests are welcome to take personal photographs and videos during the cruise.
- Our team may take photographs and videos during the cruise for promotional and social media purposes. By boarding the vessel, you consent to the use of such images unless you notify us otherwise.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our crew before the cruise begins.
- Commercial photography or filming on board requires prior written approval from Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements, is the property of Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content without our prior written consent.
The Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on this website are the trademarks of their respective owners.
11.1 Website Use
- You may access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, servers, or any databases connected to our website.
- You must not use any automated systems, software, or processes to extract data from our website (web scraping) without our written consent.
- You must not introduce viruses, malware, or any other material that is technologically harmful to our website or systems.
- You must not use our website in any way that violates any applicable UAE law or regulation.
12. Private Events and Special Bookings
- Private event bookings (birthdays, corporate events, weddings, etc.) are subject to separate terms and a dedicated contract.
- A non-refundable deposit of at least 30% is required to secure a private event booking.
- Final guest count and special arrangements must be confirmed at least 72 hours before the event.
- Any damage to the vessel or equipment caused by guests during a private event may be charged to the booking party.
12.1 Transportation and Transfers
Unless specifically included in a package, transportation to and from the cruise boarding point is not provided by Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transport. We recommend allowing sufficient travel time to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Suggested transportation options include:
- Dubai Metro: Nearest station is DMCC (Dubai Marina), approximately 10 minutes walk to the boarding point.
- Taxi or ride-hailing services (Uber, Careem) directly to JBR Marina Harbor.
- Dubai Tram: Marina Towers station is within a short walking distance.
- Hotel transfers can be arranged upon request for an additional charge.
12.2 Insurance
Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina maintains comprehensive marine insurance covering the vessel, crew, and passenger liability as required by Dubai maritime regulations. However, we strongly recommend that guests purchase their own personal travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, or loss of personal belongings. Our insurance does not cover personal items, medical expenses of individual guests, or costs associated with trip disruptions beyond our control.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
13.1 Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute or claim arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to mediation or arbitration in Dubai, UAE, in accordance with the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). The language of arbitration shall be English, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
13.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely achieves the original intent and economic effect of the original provision.
13.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina with respect to the use of our services. Any prior agreements, representations, or understandings between the parties, whether written or oral, are superseded by these terms.
13.4 Force Majeure
Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or extreme weather events
- Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or military action
- Government orders, sanctions, embargoes, or regulatory changes
- Port closures, maritime authority restrictions, or navigation hazards
- Power failures, internet outages, or telecommunications disruptions
- Strikes, labour disputes, or supply chain disruptions
In the event of a force majeure situation, we will notify affected guests as soon as reasonably practicable and offer either a full refund or free rescheduling.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
